Illinois Defense Counsel
Litigation, Toxic Tort
Illinois and Missouri are home to some of the most active asbestos litigation dockets in the country. However, each venue is unique, with different rules, customs, and procedures. Defense attorneys should be familiar with the customs and practices in these venues in order to defend their clients. During this seminar, the speakers will examine the asbestos litigation dockets in Madison County, Illinois; St. Clair County, Illinois; Cook County, Illinois; McLean County, Illinois; and St. Louis City, Missouri. The speakers will provide an overview of practicing in each venue, compare and contrast the venues, and provide helpful tips for defense attorneys who practice in the venues.Expand summary
